Lakshadweep Football Academy is the new venture of the Department. The main aim of the department for starting the academy is to produce world class football players from this territory. The Academy is expected to come into existence from the middle of June 2019. The preliminary arrangements for starting the academy are almost completed. 24 students each below 13 years and 15 years are selected for the Junior & Senior group.
